Information: Between: 14h00-16h00! After the success of her single “Tekkies Brand” and the recent Afrikaans is Groot concert series,
it is safe tot say Irene-Louise van Wyk's summer season for her music career has arrived.
This bubbly Afrikaans pop star’s brand new single, "Ek Sê So", is already a popular hit on various
hit parades and the music video has already enjoyed 65 000 views on YouTube.
She kicked the year’s busy schedule off with an international tour to Australia and New Zealand,
where she performed in Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne and Perth.
"It's incredible how the Lord works and how doors for this new song of mine just opened," she
said.
“Ek Sê So” was written by Paulo Azevedo, Danny Smoke and Roux Cloete.
The music video is a "very personal video".
Sumè Baard, daughter of the Married to Rugby actress Mandi du Plooy-Baard, plays the role of
Irene-Louise when she was little.
Luther van der Watt from Yellow Lemon Media and Irene-Louise worked together on the concept
for the video.
"I love the detail in the video - there's even a photo of my mother gracing the mirror,” Irene-Louise
said.
"I love traveling and I couldn't say no to the opportunity of performing overseas. I have an
incredible support network that made it possible,” she said.
For her the highlight was to meet her supporters in those parts of the world.
She is so obsessed with traveling that from next year she will treat her fans to travel with her to,
among other things, Disneyland in Paris, France. These trips will take place in collaboration with
Toerbroers.
