Jakkie Louw (born 20 May 1979 in Oudtshoorn) is a South African singer, songwriter and actor. He attended D.F. Malan High School, matriculated and thereafter studied B.Com at the University of Stellenbosch. He is known for hits such as "Drie Pikkewyne", "Bamboesbos ", "Gemaak in SA", "Voshaarnooi" and the "Hoendersong".

On his album “Gemaak in SA” he had a big hit with "Een miljoen woorde". He also performs with Kevin Leo under the stage name Jakkals en Leo. Already in high school, he founded the music group Stone Analysis with Viljoen Retief, Christiaan Wood and Colin Johnson. He started as a musician in Stellenbosch and later moved to Pretoria. In those years he sang hits like "Rambo die polisiehond" and "Bottel Tas". Louw is the author of the book “Liedjieskrywer 101”, in which he teaches people how to write songs and work with rhythm and rhyme. He dedicated the book to his father, Nico Louw.  In 2018, Jakkie launches his children's story book, Felias en Pokkel.
